Beth discovered the pilates method of exercise and movement when seeking a rehabilitation program after back surgeries. She found its focus on body awareness, postural support and flexibility not only helpful, but challenging and fascinating. She quickly felt its benefits in every day life, and in her riding (which, of course, got her hooked!). Click here to read how Beth describes the pilates system of exercise.
Beth became certified to teach pilates through the Physical Mind Institute in 1999. She is also a member of the Pilates Method Alliance.
From Beth's expertise, you will recieve careful assessment and development of a rational program designed to develop body awareness and control, and improve fitness and balance.
You will learn to move in a mindful, healthy, and harmonious way both on and off the horse. Beth applies her medical knowledge to assure a safe but challenging workout. Her own injuries and lengthy rehabilitation make her careful and sympathetic to client needs.
Let Beth help you use your body more efficiently through systematic training. Like training your horse, success comes from attention to detail, patience, positive reinforcement, and seeking the desired result rather than focusing on flaws.
