I was very excited when, in March of 2013, I signed a contract with Trafalgar Square Books (TSB) to republish my self-published book: Ride in Balance. The subsequent year was spent editing and improving the original book. It was a terrific experience to work with editors and designers with such vast knowledge preparing a book […]
My program of teaching pilates took a very positive turn about a year ago, while my life descended into chaos.
Why the chaos? Simple – my husband of over 30+ years announced one Sunday afternoon that he was moving to another city – without me. No discussion, no chance for compromise, absolutely no warning. He was […]

Yes, I’m a student of posture. It interests me on so many levels – mental well-being, physical well-being, function, efficiency, harmony.
So, I’m off to study another aspect by attending a conference in Texas called: The Posture of Meditation. Excited.
I’ll be back at Anne Appleby’s lovely Creekside Farm in Olympia, WA to teach a 2 1/2 day clinic. We’ll start Friday afternoon, August 15, with lessons and a movement class, and continue with lessons Saturday and Sunday, August 16-17. Contact Anne for more information: email@example.com
I’ll return to the beautiful Devonwood Equestrian Center this August to teach off-horse movement classes to the enthusiastic students at the ODS Youth Summer Dressage Camp: http://www.oregondressage.com/youth-summercamp.html
It is so much fun to work with our future riders and trainers. Thank you, Jessica Rattner, for including me in this program.
Please join me on Sunday afternoon, August 3, 2014, 3-7pm, for a get together celebrating summer and the release of my new book: The Riding Doctor: A Prescription for Healthy, Balanced, Beautiful Riding, Now and for Years to Come, published by Trafalgar Square Books. We’ll enjoy snacks and drinks and the good company of fellow […]
I am excited to present and teach at the 2014 upper level Pony Club Camp this summer at Aspen Farm. I’ll be doing a seminar on Friday August 1, and teaching on Saturday, August 2. Hope to see you there!
I am traveling to Long Beach, CA, to learn what is new in the study of posture. The conference: Perceptual Organization of Posture and Coordination, will be taught by Mary Bond. I’ll post comments on the conference, and I look forward to incorporating new ideas of posture and postural support in my teaching.
I’ll travel to Maple Valley for a day of teaching lessons. The clinic is organized by Julie Schepper. Contact Julie for information: firstname.lastname@example.org
